'Operation Marshmallow' was conceived as a ministry to soldiers and their families after Julie and her family saw her sons through their tenth combined deployment. When a family friend, having a sleepless night, came up with the idea of sending marshmallows overseas, the idea caught on with a passion. 'Operation Marshmallow' operates on the belief that our men and women serving deserve all the support we can offer, as they continue to make the ultimate sacrifices to preserve our freedom. We also honor veterans who have served, and the families of deployed military members. 'Operation Marshmallow' ships from all over the country as volunteers continue to step up and "adopt" active duty members, their families, and veterans.
Our Veterans outreach area collects donations to provide help with deposits, rent , showers and meals for homeless Veterans...as well as offering rentals at low rates for homeless heroes.
